monday night

After a pretty good first day at work, still really tired from the long weekend....a little mirassou cab sauv to help with the suggestion of an early bedtime.. :)

winding down

Well after an afternoon / evening of stripping off old wallpaper, decided to have a mirassou pinot noir and catch some tube. not going to blow away anybody's cellar tracker numbers, but for the  price, not bad at all.So far, one son home safely, waiting to hear from #2.

boys heading home

Well as nice as it was to have both boys home, tomorrow is a travel day and they will be on the road again heading to their homes.Then it's waiting until we hear they got home safely..

wine tasting

2008 zen of zin, around $8. good fruit, not as peppery as I would like on the end. will buy again.

wine review

2005 pico madama jumilla.Around $30  Bought this wine knowing it needed a little shelf time Tried it fall of 2008, now fall of 2010. Seemed very similair to me me from what I remember from last tasting. Going to wait another year on this one.

2005 chateau du grand moueys.Around $10. Not that good, kind of bitter. Passing on this one.
